WWF maxicards from Slovakia

Thank you very much Robert for the maxicards of the Slovakia WWF issue! These are really great items :)

Beautiful cover from Egypt

My best cover from Egypt so far... Very nice to get such colourful cover that makes me curious to know more about the other stamps of the country.

Nothing special, but with a stamp on endangered animals (Mountain Gorilla).

First cover from Ireland!

Thanks to my parents for posting this cover with two Saint Patrick's Day stamps.

To be honest, every time I look at my American stamps I think that the USA does not issue nice stamps anymore... I do like the older stamps from the USA very much, but I really dislike the newer ones I have in my collection. Thanks to Jean-Claude, I now see that I am wrong: the USA still issue nice stamps! :)

Sorry for the delay in updating my blog, but regular readers of this blog know about my eye problems so I assume you will understand... Now, before starting to reply to letters I've received in the past two weeks, I want to post some covers on this blog so you can see the new covers in my collection. I can already say that I've received some new countries too, you will see the covers soon.

Let's start with these three nice covers from Bosnia and Hercegovina, a country on the Balkan peninsula of southern Europe with an area of 51,129 km². The country is a homeland to three ethnic "constituent peoples": Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats. Interesting for us stamp collectors is that the country also has three stamp-issuing entities.
